Definiciones<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Una part\u00edcula primaria se refiere a la unidad independiente y discreta m\u00e1s peque\u00f1a, con forma geom\u00e9trica regular o irregular, formada mediante nucleaci\u00f3n y crecimiento dentro de un sistema de reacci\u00f3n espec\u00edfico (como la combusti\u00f3n, la precipitaci\u00f3n o la s\u00edntesis en fase de vapor). Puede entenderse como la unidad individual &quot;innata&quot; y m\u00e1s b\u00e1sica, formada durante el proceso de creaci\u00f3n del material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un aglomerado secundario se refiere a una part\u00edcula compuesta m\u00e1s compleja formada por la agregaci\u00f3n de m\u00faltiples part\u00edculas primarias unidas por alguna fuerza. No es innato, sino que se forma postnatalmente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">II. Diferencias<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ambos difieren significativamente en cuanto a estructura y composici\u00f3n, mecanismo de formaci\u00f3n, fuerzas de uni\u00f3n, estabilidad e impacto en el rendimiento. Las diferencias espec\u00edficas se ilustran en la siguiente gr\u00e1fica:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">III. Se considera el m\u00e9todo de referencia para distinguir entre part\u00edculas primarias de tama\u00f1o nanom\u00e9trico y sus aglomerados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conclusi\u00f3n:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En las micrograf\u00edas electr\u00f3nicas, las unidades con l\u00edmites claros y continuidad interna se identifican como part\u00edculas primarias. Las estructuras compuestas por m\u00faltiples unidades de este tipo, compactadas o no, se consideran aglomerados secundarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2) T\u00e9cnicas de an\u00e1lisis del tama\u00f1o de part\u00edculas<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00e9todos:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Analizador de tama\u00f1o de part\u00edculas por difracci\u00f3n l\u00e1ser: Este m\u00e9todo mide el di\u00e1metro hidrodin\u00e1mico de las part\u00edculas en un medio (generalmente l\u00edquido) mediante dispersi\u00f3n de luz. Mide el tama\u00f1o aparente de los aglomerados en estado disperso. Si el tama\u00f1o medido por difracci\u00f3n l\u00e1ser es significativamente mayor que el tama\u00f1o de part\u00edcula primario observado mediante microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica, indica una aglomeraci\u00f3n secundaria significativa de la muestra en agua o disolvente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La difracci\u00f3n de rayos X (DRX) analiza el ensanchamiento de los picos de difracci\u00f3n de los cristalitos. Los investigadores\/nosotros podemos aplicar la ecuaci\u00f3n de Scherrer a estas mediciones para calcular el tama\u00f1o de los cristalitos de las part\u00edculas primarias. Este tama\u00f1o refleja el dominio de dispersi\u00f3n coherente dentro del cristal y no se ve afectado por la aglomeraci\u00f3n f\u00edsica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conclusi\u00f3n:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comparar el tama\u00f1o del cristalito calculado mediante difracci\u00f3n de rayos X (DRX) con el tama\u00f1o del aglomerado medido por difracci\u00f3n l\u00e1ser es un m\u00e9todo cl\u00e1sico para distinguirlos. Si son similares, indica una buena dispersi\u00f3n, con el material presente predominantemente en forma de part\u00edculas primarias. Si este \u00faltimo es mucho mayor que el primero, sugiere la presencia de una aglomeraci\u00f3n secundaria severa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3) An\u00e1lisis del \u00e1rea superficial espec\u00edfica (m\u00e9todo BET)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00e9todo:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El m\u00e9todo BET determina la superficie espec\u00edfica de las part\u00edculas midiendo la adsorci\u00f3n de gases. Este m\u00e9todo permite calcular el tama\u00f1o te\u00f3rico de part\u00edcula primaria para part\u00edculas esf\u00e9ricas mediante la f\u00f3rmula <em>Tama\u00f1o de part\u00edcula \u2248 6 \/ (Densidad \u00d7 \u00c1rea superficial espec\u00edfica)<\/em>, bajo el supuesto de que todas las part\u00edculas son esferas independientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conclusi\u00f3n:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Compare el tama\u00f1o de part\u00edcula calculado mediante el m\u00e9todo BET con los resultados de la microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica o la difracci\u00f3n de rayos X (DRX). Si el tama\u00f1o obtenido mediante el m\u00e9todo BET es menor, podr\u00eda indicar la presencia de poros o rugosidad superficial en las part\u00edculas. Si se acerca al tama\u00f1o de part\u00edcula primario medido mediante otros m\u00e9todos, se corroboran mutuamente. Si el tama\u00f1o real obtenido con un analizador de tama\u00f1o de part\u00edcula es mucho mayor que el valor obtenido mediante el m\u00e9todo BET, se confirma nuevamente la existencia de aglomeraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4) Pruebas de dispersi\u00f3n y ultras\u00f3nica<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00e9todo:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Disperse la muestra de polvo en un disolvente adecuado y observe la sedimentaci\u00f3n. La sedimentaci\u00f3n r\u00e1pida, que forma un gr\u00e1nulo duro, suele indicar una fuerte aglomeraci\u00f3n. Posteriormente, someta la suspensi\u00f3n a un tratamiento ultras\u00f3nico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conclusi\u00f3n:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si el tama\u00f1o de part\u00edcula medido por difracci\u00f3n l\u00e1ser disminuye significativamente y se aproxima al tama\u00f1o de part\u00edcula primario obtenido por microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica o difracci\u00f3n de rayos X (DRX) tras la ultrasonicaci\u00f3n, se revela que previamente se produjo una aglomeraci\u00f3n secundaria d\u00e9bil, susceptible de rotura por fuerzas externas.
