Siliziumkarbid ist \u00fcblicherweise in zwei Varianten erh\u00e4ltlich: schwarzes Siliziumkarbid und gr\u00fcnes Siliziumkarbid, beides \u03b1-SiC. Schleifwerkzeuge aus diesem Material k\u00f6nnen die Oberfl\u00e4chenrauheit in einem einzigen Arbeitsgang von Ra 32\u20130,16 Mikrometer auf Ra 0,04\u20130,02 Mikrometer reduzieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Verwendung von Siliziumkarbid<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dank seiner stabilen chemischen Eigenschaften, der hohen W\u00e4rmeleitf\u00e4higkeit, des niedrigen W\u00e4rmeausdehnungskoeffizienten und der hervorragenden Verschlei\u00dffestigkeit findet Siliziumkarbid neben Schleifmitteln auch in vielen anderen Bereichen Anwendung. Beispiel: Mit einem speziellen Verfahren k\u00f6nnen die Innenw\u00e4nde von Turbinenlaufr\u00e4dern oder Zylinderbl\u00f6cken mit Siliziumkarbidpulver beschichtet werden, wodurch die Verschlei\u00dffestigkeit erh\u00f6ht und die Lebensdauer um das Ein- bis Zweifache verl\u00e4ngert wird. Hochwertige feuerfeste Materialien aus Siliziumkarbid bieten Thermoschockbest\u00e4ndigkeit, Kompaktheit, geringes Gewicht, hohe Festigkeit und Energieeffizienz. Niedrigwertiges Siliziumkarbid (ca. 85% SiC) dient als hervorragendes Desoxidationsmittel bei der Stahlherstellung, verbessert die Stahlqualit\u00e4t und erleichtert die Kontrolle der Zusammensetzung.
